Dialectal Behaviour Therapy (DBT) could be complementary to Psychological First Aid (PFA) due to DBT treatment focus on psychoeducation, and providing clients with a nonjudgmental and validating therapeutic alliance and rapport, which are necessary to be implemented in DBT to reduce individuals severe emotion dysregulation and help their personal life worth living. What are your thoughts on implementing PFA prior to DBT?
