What are the examples of teacher-family interactions

Assignment:

Overview:

By now you should have selected the option you would like to complete for the Classroom Observation and Analysis Assignment (due in Unit 4): either Option 1 - inperson observation of an early childhood classroom in your community or Option 2 - two video observations of an early childhood classroom.

This assignment will familiarize you with using the Classroom Observation and Analysis tool that you will use for your selected option.

Instructions:

Two examples of observations and analyses conducted by former CHS111 students are provided, one for Option 1 and one for Option 2. Based on the option that you have chosen, review the appropriate example of the observation and analysis tool listed and answer the following questions:

1. What is the curriculum approach used by the program?

2. What are the developmental domains and early learning standards specified in the lesson plan?

3. What examples were provided as signs of children's interest and engagement in activities?

4. What are the examples of teacher-family interactions?

5. In statement 2 of the Analysis page, what three topics (a-g) were discussed? (If you are viewing the analysis section written as a paper, you will have to read through the paper to find the specific items.)

Be sure to read the criteria by which your work will be evaluated before you write and again after you write.
