Scenario:

In the library, patrons will want to sometimes borrow a book. They need to use the librarian behind the counter in order to check out a book. We don't know if the book exists in the library so the librarian will need to check the computer system's book database for it. If it does exist, then the librarian tells the patron the good news and then asks for the patron's library card. The librarian then takes the library card and updates the book's status in the computer system. It records that the book was borrowed by that particular patron. The librarian then gives the book to the patron and tells him or her to have a great day! The patron says thank you I appreciate it.
