What are four evidence-supported strategies to consider

Assignment task:

Victor is 34, single, unemployed, and has experienced symptoms since age 22. During his first year of law school, he became convinced that his classmates were plotting against him.  If someone coughed or sneezed when he entered the classroom, he believed they did this to alert others to his arrival. These concerns became so pronounced that he had to quit law school. When a girl he was dating broke off the relationship with him, he believed that she was a "replacement look-alike" for his actual girlfriend.  He called the police and asked for their help to solve the "kidnapping."  He also hears voices that say demeaning things to him. These voices were so distracting to his performance that he was fired from a part-time job at a bank. He recently went to a shoe store 30 miles from his house hoping he would finally get shoes that wouldn't be "altered."  However, he determined that special nails had been put into the bottom of the shoes to harm him in some way. He was hospitalized for the first time at age 24. Since that time, he has been hospitalized 7 times due to similar beliefs, voices, and corresponding behaviors.  He has no history of substance use and has no medical conditions that influence these symptoms.
