Homework: Fundamentals of Speech Evaluation
Now that you have given your first, informative speech you can adequately assess your performance as a speaker.
Write 2 to 4 pages paper that includes a self-report of speaking skills that were presented during the informative presentation. Provide critiques that include what was presented well, and what can be improved for future presentations.
Potential questions to answer-
i. What was done well? Why? How do you know?
ii. What needs improvement? Why? How do you know?
iii. What adaptations must be made for future presentations?
iv. What strategies can you employ to improve?
v. What theories discussed in class or in the textbook can aid you in your improvement as a speaker?
Format your homework according to the following formatting requirements:
i) The answer should be typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), double spaced, with one-inch margins on all sides.
ii) The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
iii) Also include a reference page. The Citations and references must follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
