Your task is to select outlets of communication by which you'll get in touch with your target audience about this brand. You can do this in a number of ways: emails, phone calls, banner ads on websites, social media communication, sponsored web posts, TV commercials, billboards, webinars, live presentations, celebrity endorsements, etc. There are hundreds of possibilities, so do not limit yourself to these few that were rattled off above! Come up with at least 4 or 5 different outlets and describe in detail how you'll use them to achieve the marketing objectives of this project. This will be the start of your Media Plan.

Your research and your budget will drive your media outlet selection. Don't worry so much about the budget yet (that's for next assignment), but think about the most effective ways to communicate with your target audience about this product. There will be two aspects of your Media Plan: the outlets selected and the communication plan. See the attached sample of a Communication Plan. Your selection of outlets may impact the way in which they are deployed. For example, you wouldn't want to do a social media campaign for a watch that has yet to be announced and offered for sale. You would launch it first and then follow it up with promotional communication via web ads, sponsored posts, etc.
