Voltammetry:
You learnt about voltammetry. Several electrodes, especially the general microelectrodes used in voltammetry were discussed. Then we discussed the common voltammetry methods. A linear sweep voltammetry, sampled D.C. polarography and hydrodynamic voltammetry were discussed under the direct current methods. A detailed discussion of the different pulse methods was completed involving normal pulse voltammetry, differential pulse voltammetry, square wave voltammetry and cyclic voltammetry. Also you have learnt about the various stripping methods including anodic, cathodic and adsorptive stripping voltammetry. Instead current methods were also discussed. Within the final section of the unit we learnt about the instrumental details and steps included in practical voltammetry.
