Using the floating point format described in problem

1) Add the following 16-bit 2's complement numbers (represented in Hex, assume word size of the computer is 16 bits): FE59 + BEBA and indicate whether or not there is a carry and/or an overflow generated. Also give the result of the calculation in base-10 format if there is no overflow.

2) Add the following 16-bit 2's complement numbers (represented in Hex, assume word size of the computer is 16 bits): 4B1F + 3CFF and indicate whether or not there is a carry and/or an overflow generated. Also give the result in base-10 format if there is no overflow.
