using one mean t test to determine whether or not

Using one mean t test to determine whether or not to support the claim.

The t-test ia another hypothesis test that WORKS THE SAME as the z-test (the hypothesis test I introduced in this course.) The ONLY difference is that the population standard deviation, σX, is unknown. σX is estimated by using the standard deviation for the sample, s. Use the "t-test" on the calculator (use "data" not "stat") for the following situation by following the steps for the z-test. The interpretation/ conclusions are EXACTLY THE SAME.

A teacher believes the average IQ of her students is lower than 100. He finds the IQs of 6 students selected randomly: {90, 92, 94, 102, 100, 95}. Is this enough evidence to reject µX = 100?

a) There is strong evidence to reject H0, a p-value of 0.063 is very small.

b) There is little evidence to reject H0, a p-value of 0.063 is large.

c) There is fairly strong evidence to reject H0, a p-value of 0.032 is fairly small.

d) There is little evidence to reject H0, a p-value of 0.063 is large.
