In physics, energy is described as ability to do work. When mainly people think of energy, they imagine of electricity. Energy which is utilized to generate electricity is deduced from a number of resources. Lot of energy used today is attained from fossil fuels. Though, these resources are limited. Accordingly, alternative and renewable resources are being discovered for production of electricity.

i) Describe scientific and technical concepts associated to uses of fossil fuels and renewable energy resources.
ii) Let how fossil fuels like coal, oil, and natural gas are used for production of electricity.
iii) Let how alternative and renewable resources like wave power, wind turbines, hydroelectric power, and geothermal energy are used to either generate electrical energy or give the alternative to electricity consumption.
iv) Describe the advantages and disadvantages associated to both fossil fuels and renewable energy resources like wind power, geothermal energy, hydroelectricity, and biomass.
v) Let the issues like availability of the sustainability of the technology, resource, and environmental impact.
vi) Create 2–3 suitable examples of uses of both kinds of energy resources which are used in your community.
