1. Read through the Reading Strategies Guide for Module III, other resources in the Module III Folder, and the Internet to find information on reading strategies. Remember to think broadly about literacy and that strategies are available to help students with comprehension, fluency, activating prior knowledge, vocabulary development, summarization, writing, phonological and phonemic awareness and content literacy, among important concepts.
2. Use the Teaching Reading in Multilingual Classrooms by Freeman and Freeman text, or choose a website that provides the most useful information about the strategy. You may provide information from other sources. In this module you will teach and provide others information about the strategy.
3. Make sure you have included anything special or important about the strategy when you share the information about the strategy with the class.
4. Identify and submit the strategy that you have selected and Investigate Literacy Strategies to Module 3.
