Seated at a round table, five friends are playing the following game. One of the five players opens the game by passing a cup to the player seated either to his left or right. That player, in turn, passes the cup to a player on his left or right and so on until the cup has progressed all the way around the table. As soon as one complete round has been achieved, the player left holding the cup pays for a round of drinks. A coin-toss is performed before each turn in order to determine whether the cup will go to the left or right. Use computer simulation to find, for each player, the probability that the player will have to buy a round of drinks.
