Problem- Two isomeric compounds A and B are known to each have a monosubstituted benzene ring and have the formula C6H5C3H5O2. Both are insoluble in water. When placed in diluted aqueous solution NaOH one of them dissolves. Provide structures for compounds A & B and explain why one of them dissolves and the other does not?
