To determine how Learners are doing in a course, self assessments are often performed where Learners reflect and review their knowledge and skills to determine where they are and where they need to advance. In this section you will assess your writing and presentation skills and then develop a self improvement plan to strengthen noted areas of weakness.

Required Reading:

Reflect upon your research presentation skills and list any weaknesses that exist at the present time. This could include designing a PowerPoint presentation, actually making a presentation, setting up for the presentation, sending a presentation electronically, etc. Next, write a brief paper that is one to two pages in length describing how you plan to strengthen your weak writing and presentation skills.

Submit a paper with the following two sections:

(1) presentation evaluation self assessment

(2) self improvement plan for writing and presentation skills

Length: 4 pages (app. 350 words per page)

Your paper should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts that are presented in the course and provide new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic. Your submittal should reflect scholarly writing and current APA standards.
