Three parts of asingle-phase electric system are designated

Three parts of asingle-phase electric system are designated A,B and C and areconnected to each other through transformers. Neglect transformerresistance and magnetizing current. The transformers are rated as follows:
A-B Transformers: 9.6kVA, 500V/1.5kV, leakage reactance 5%(Xeq=0.05 p.u.)
B-C Transformers: 7.2kVA, 1.2kV/120V, leakage reactance4% (Xeq=0.04 p.u.)
The line (in circuit B) has an impedance of 0.5+j3.0 Ω.The load (in circuit C) operates at 120V, 6kVA at 0.8 power factorlagging.
(a) Determine the value of the load impedance in ohms
(b) Determine the actual ohmic impedances of the twotransformers referred to both their primary and secondarysides.
(c) Chooso=ing 1.2kV as the voltage base for circuit B and10kVA as the systemwide kVA base, express all system impedance inper unit.
(d) What is the required voltage at the sending end (circuitA) according to the given loading conditions?
