The reaction studied in this experiment is a redox reaction

Question - Part 1- The reaction studied in this experiment is a redox reaction; methylene blue is reduced by the ascorbic acid and, as it occurs, methylene blue is converted into the colorless H2MB+ compound. We use this bleaching to measure the reaction rate. Write the 1/2 reaction for the reduction of methylene blue. use the standard reduction potential for methylene blue (100 mv) to explain whether or not dissolved oxygen (in the reactant solutions) affect the results of this experiment. Be sure to write all 1/2 reactions involved.

Part 2- The reduced form of methylene blue is often used to indicate the presence of oxygen contamination in anaerobic systems.

Utilize your answer to 1 above to define how this species can be utilized as an indicator in these systems. Be sure to list any 1/2 reactions involved.

I need proficient help in the above problems.
