The purpose of this requirement is to familiarize you with:

a. HTTP messages exchanged between browsers and web servers, and with

b. Development tools for monitoring your browser and HTTP environment.

First, make sure you have downloaded both of these Firefox add-ons.

In Firefox's Firebug add-on, select option to open tool in new window, and enable Net tab and ALL in Firebug, submit the HTML form to trigger the HTTP exchange with the server, click the ALL tab and expand the headers and post tab's in the Firefox panel. Snapshot each image. In the Live HTTP Headers tool's dialog window, click the request option under the Generator tab, then use the Headers tab to see the HTTP header messages exchanged.

Snapshot the results (for example, in Windows use Fn+Alt+Prnt Scrn keys to capture currently active screen) or use a snipping tool to capture/save an active window. Store the images as JPEGs or PNG's, but NOT (repeat, NOT) as Bit Maps [bmp]! (which take up unnecessary space and delay download to your browser). Add descriptive hyperlinks to the images on the bottom of the HTML Form page as described in the grading grid for Asgt01. Each linked to image should lie in its own separate HTML page with an image tag and appropriate attributes (including alt) and a text description in a paragraph or heading element on the page.
