The Problem Based Learning is an approach to learning prepares the students to engage with challenges similar to real world problems.The VEB3001-Problem Based Learning has been an exciting and happening subject. The personal experience and knowledge gained during the course of this semester will help me a long way towards achieving the attributes of a skilled engineer.
The PBL project this semester required us to design a DC motor that can be controlled by a remote. The team assigned me to do the programming section. The different aspects of the project such as software section for programming the chips and hardware section for constructing the design were helpful in sharpening our engineering skills.
As a member of team-H I have put in my best effort while completing the tasks assigned to the team. While performing these tasks such as writing reports, giving oral presentations I have been able to achieve the prime objectives of the PBL subject and develop and broaden my characteristics as an individual. In the given portfolio I have put in my claim against the understanding of the learning outcomes of the subject. And in order to justify my claims I have put in the relevant documents as evidence. The desired learning outcomes of PBL indeed highlight the most significant attributes that any determined engineer by profession should acquire. So in this report I have explored the significance of the PBL by giving a detailed description on the learning outcomes that I have achieved.
