One of the most popular training methods used in corporations today for developing salespeople is role playing. A role play simulates a sales call or sales meeting between a Seller and a Buyer. It consists of a two-person dialogue, with one person being the Seller and the other being the Buyer. Role playing allows the Seller to practice the necessary skills for building relationships and making the sale. These skills include connecting personally and building rapport, listening, questioning, presenting, handling objections, and asking for the sale.

The best way to learn these skills is by practicing role playing.

The objective of this individual project is to acquaint you with the role play technique and the actions/behaviors needed to conduct an effective sales call (meeting). You will watch one (1) role play video (link located in document below) from an FIU sales competition and evaluate the Seller. Be sure to read the description and instructions for the assignment.
