The main objective of the project is to decrease the time spent by the LGA staff searching for and moving equipment within the OR. Other objectives include the implementation of an improved system of storage in the equipment and supplies rooms, the creation of clear replenishment policies, the removal of excess and unused items, the consolidation of similar or same procedure items in storage areas, an increase in procedure turnaround time, and an increase in employee morale and satisfaction.
