The machine will consist of a base or frame a rotary

The machine will consist of a base or frame, a rotary actuator (to obtain the 90 degree desired rotation about the x-axis), a linear actuator that will move plates back and forth to obtain the 180 degree axis rotation about the y-axis, and a PLC/HMI control. 4 extreme positions as attached to achieve the desired motion. Basically, The angle iron attached to each station will hold a cable. First, The shaft will rotate 90 degrees bending up and down. The upper part is a linear actuator controls that allow each plate attached to hit the wing at the extreme left and right of each wing to achieve the 90 degree rotation (counterclockwise and clockwise). The following will be need to be calculated:

1. Moment calculations for each station in order to get the required torque needed to move all five stations at once.

2. Wear calculations for each wing when the plates above hits the wing every cycle to achieve the rotational axis.

3. All 5 cables will hang on the front bar with a little weight hanging at the end to hold each cable ( I`ve attached a video from the old tester that we are actually implementing to show how we are holding each cable on the from bar. so for 3. you need to calculate how long this bar will last until its replaced.
