The bold part is my question as i believe the first part is

Question- The bold part is my question, as I believe the first part is already correct. Please provide an explanation. Solutions of Cu2+ turn litmus red because of equilibrium for which Ka=1.0e-8. Calculate the pH of 0.10 M Cu(NO3)2.

pH = 7-0.5pKa-0.5logC

=7-0.5*8+0.5*1

=2.5

Co^2+ solutions are also acidic because of an equilibrium just like the one above, but with Ka = 5.0 * 10 ^(-10). Calculate the pH of 0.10 M Co(NO_3)_2 (aq). Is this solution acidic enough to turn blue litmus red?
