• What opportunities have to be given to a student who is expelled and what must be done with their files after 1 year? What is the underlying principle for both of these?

• What may be given to students with special needs including those of a lower socio/economic background? Do you think this is a strong recommendation? Why is it not a ‘should'?

Part 2. Look at the Education and Training Reform Regulations 2007 (handout or P14-5)

Take notes from Division 2: P14 - 15

• Take notes from Element 1, Element 2, Element 4, Appendix 3, Appendix 4 (approx. P9-12, P13-16; pp23 - 28; P 35 - 38)
