Individually, map the ICD 9CM to ICD10CM or ICD10CM to ICD 9CM Compare your individual mappings and reach consensus on the correct mapping. Students may collaborate by telephone, email, doc sharing, etc. Summarize your process and state whether your individual mapping matched or was there a collaborative effort for the final mapping. Comment on the ease or difficulty of the mapping process. Provide at least two examples of issues with mapping from one coding classification version to another version. Articulate the role of Health Information Management professionals in this type of data analytics process.
