Strategies to ensure project is implemented fairly

Problem: Reply to this post: As I plan and research for my ARP, I have chosen two strategies to ensure my project is implemented fairly. It is important that we, as educators, are grounded in equitable decision-making processes and research strategies because our work and interactions with students and their families can greatly influence children's sense of belonging, access to support, and long-term academic and social-emotional outcomes. 1. From the Advancing Equity and Embracing Diversity text, I have chosen to focus on creating equity by recognizing each child's unique strengths and providing them with differentiated levels of support based on their individual needs. Advancing Equity and Embracing Diversity emphasizes that educators must be in tune with and respond to children's diverse emotional, developmental, and cultural needs. By focusing on individuals' strengths and supporting their needs, I will be able to create tailored behavioral supports and tiered interventions. 2. For my research-based strategy, I found that focusing on culturally responsive teacher-family relationships promotes an equitable and understanding foundation for creating a supportive partnership between home and school. Research shows that equity is increased when educators value and incorporate family knowledge and cultural context into their decision-making. Gathering family input through surveys, conferences, or interviews can lead teachers to have a more complete picture. Need Assignment Help?
