Figure 2 shows an automobile alarm circuit used to detect certain undesirable conditions. To indicate the alarm status three switches are used as an input, the driver's door, the ignition and the headlights, respectively. The alarm will be activated whenever either of the following conditions exists:
The headlights are on while the ignition is off.
