Show the mechanims of a the dehydration between the amino

Question- A tri-peptide is three linked amino acids where the peptide bond is formed by a dehydration reaction.

a. Show the mechanims of a the dehydration between the amino group on the lysine and the carboxylic acid on the valine that creates the peptide bond.

b. Imagine you have a tri-peptide composed of (N terminus) aspartic acid, lysine, and valine (C terminus). Draw this tripeptide in the fully protonated state. How many acidic protons are present? Identify them.

c. Assume that the pKas of the carboxyl, amino, and side chain protons are the same in the tripeptide as they are in the free amino acid species. Starting with the fully protonated tripeptide, determine the magnitude and the sign of the overall charge on tripeptide at (1) pH = 2.0 (2) pH = 7.0 (3) pH = 12.0.
