Many factors can influence second language learning. Reflect on what you have learned regarding these factors.
Which of the four factors (motivation, exposure, age, or personality) surprises you the most as a contributing factor to a child's second language acquisition? Why? If you are not surprised by any of them, why not? Consider the factor that surprised you or another factor that affects learner success. Share at least one activity that will help further develop language skills, while taking this specific factor into account.
