Hello everyone! My name is ML. I currently live in Miami, FL with my husband and my beautiful baby girl (9 months old). I have a been a nurse for about 2 years now. I first started working as a Medsurg-Tele and Step Down nurse until I decided to expand my knowledge and experience as a nurse and decided to move forward and try OR.
Becoming a Nurse Practitioner has always been one of my main goals as a professional. As a nurse I think epidemiology affects our career every day in a positive note.
I highly believe using the sources to be able to search for causes and factors that influence the health of patients is a great way of treatment. Epidemiology help healthcare providers identify a problem and find a solution. In addition to that, it allows health promotion and prevention and a lot can be applied in our daily basis as healthcare providers.
