INTRODUCTION:

Give an overview of the subject area.

Explain the research problem, question and aim.

RESEARCH PROBLEM:

From the overview of the subject, area follows the research problem, i.e. you have to identify the possible cause(s) of the disorder. This section states the problem that you are exploring.

The research question is specific, concise, and clear. The research question can be expanded upon by stating sub-questions.

RESEARCH AIMS AND OBJECTIVES:

This is where you explain the research problem, question and aim.

Next, you have to describe the research aim as it relates to solving the uncertainty or burning question you are interested in.

LITERATURE REVIEW:

Demonstrate that you are familiar with the debates and issues raised in related literature. References to key texts and recently published articles should be made to show that you appreciate their relevance to your research area.

  • Demonstrate that the problem Is worthy of investigation
  • Show that you have considered the value of past research.
  • In this section, you should have quotations, citations and references.

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY:

You need to display an awareness of the available methodologies for data collection and show a clear understanding of the methodologies that would be most suitable for your research. Include primary, secondary, quantitative and qualitative research methods. Give an outline of your research design: Tools, location, sample size etc. Highlight any ethical, practical or health and safety issues.

RESULTS AND FINDINGS:

The findings of your research such as the results of a questionnaire or interview transcripts [please note completed questionnaires should go Into your appendix) I interpret the results from your questionnaires or interviews and any other primary and secondary research you have undertaken insert relevant charts and tables to illustrate your findings.

CONCLUSIONS:

What conclusions have you drawn from your research? The conclusion should be based on what the research has discovered and its significance.

EVALUATION AND RECCOMENDATIONS:

Highlight strengths and areas for development within your project.

Did you use appropriate research methods?

Could you have expanded your research area or narrowed it to give greater insight or more detail?

Where questions posed to participants appropriate, specific and relevant enough?

Based on your evaluation make recommendations in relation to your project as well as recommendations in the area that you have researched

Bibliography is a list of books, articles, journals, papers that have supported your study. They need to be cited in the text.
