Part 1 Questions:
Scripting languages are used to develop dynamic Web sites, offering tight integration with databases and the ability to offer portability and stability through a variety of environments. There are a variety of scripting languages that operate on a variety of platforms.

Choose three scripting languages available today and describe their major characteristics.
Describe the relationship between a scripting language and HTML

Part 2:
PHP has two conditional statements -if and switch- which allow us to establish a test and then perform actions based on the results. This functionality provides the ability to make websites even more dynamic. Additionally, this week we introduce loops, which allow you to repeat an action for a specified number of iterations. If used, properly, loops can save you a tremendous amount of programming time.
