Think of three ways to describe the Duke of Ferrara to someone who's never met him. Pull out direct quotations and evidence from his soliloquy to support your understanding of his characterization.
Imagine that you are the envoy, sent by the Count to bargain with the Duke of Ferrara, and you hear this soliloquy. Write a letter that you will send back to the Count, explaining your understanding of the situation in Ferrara and offering your advice about it. Pull out at least three direct quotations and pieces of evidence from the poem to justify the advice that you give.
