Outline for Your Review of Literature/Information Sources
During this module, you will continue to conduct your research on the background of the selected topic area so that findings can be evaluated in the context of the wider body of knowledge and/or practice.
• Critically evaluate prior research actions and interventions that serve as a foundation for the proposed doctoral research.
• Be sure and check with your Research Chair on areas of research where you may have questions or concerns.
Outline of headings and subheadings
The second part of this assignment is to submit an Outline of the headings and subheadings that will organize your Review of the Literature/Review of Information Sources.
• Your outline should make evident the framework for your proposed research as discussed earlier.
• It should delineate prior research or interventions and major theorists or historical accounts that inform your topic and support the existence of the problem and/or importance of the research.
• As part of your Outline, include in your Timeline for completion of each section/subsection of your Review of the Literature/Review of Information Sources over the next 12 weeks.
• Your Timeline should plan for full completion of Review of the Literature/Review of Information Sources in the next DR course, DR8801-B, M6 Assignment 2.
