Research Paper: Erikson's Theory of Psychosocial Development
Erik Erikson's Theory of Psychosocial Development is a favorite theory of mine because I believe that his eight life stages reflect development at the various stages of our lives. His first stage: Trust versus Mistrust is so very important because it sets (or not) the child's perceptions and later thinking about his/her world and later woridview. Many developmental theorists believe that early childhood experiences shape the adult we become. The Netflix Company is actually giving new parents longer family leave because they believe children need parents in this critical developmental phase. Research documentation as to why setting a good foundation early in a child's development is so important for parents, caregivers, and even educators.
This is a research paper and requires a bibliography. These papers must be a minimum of 4 pages (does not include bibliography page), double spaced, APA style. These papers are subjective in nature and the student can interject opinions into the paper along with referenced and documented information.
