Discussion 3-Market Segmentation

After reading the article by Fisher in this week's readings, think about the hospital branding and marketing communications with which you are familiar. NOT A MILITARY OR GOVERNMENT HOSPITAL

It might be your local hospital or one in which you had a patient experience. You might want to visit that hospital's website. What do you think of that hospital's brand?

What does it mean to you? Do you think their brand (logo) reflects that meaning?

Do you think their marketing communications do a good job of communicating the brand? If not, what would you recommend they change in their marketing communications?

After posting your own thoughts, Please comment on TWO of your classmates' posts and see if you see any similarities or differences.

Perhaps some of those posts can help you make recommendations for your hospital. Remember to bring in data and comment on references.

Also - Don't get hung up on your actual experience and extrapolate that one instance as good or bad marketing (like one little sign in the clinic)

. Think globally! Like a hospital system in the area!?
