Assignment Task:
Reflecting on Your Employability Skills
At this point, you should notice that you are developing many skills at being a teacher. List and discuss one skill that you are developing in EACH of these three categories: academic, personal management, and teamwork. For each skill, make sure to give a specific example of the tasks that allowed you to improve on this skill. For example: For teamwork, you can say that you now better understand how to work well in group dynamics. You improved on this when you were grouped with three other colleagues to help create an advertisement for a new campaign.
Reflecting on Challenges:
In a journal, discuss 2-3 challenges that you have had to overcome at being an elementary teacher (or are trying to overcome). Why are these things challenging for you? How did you (or are you trying to) overcome them? What are you learning from these experiences? Be specific!
