Red wolves, which are rare, can mate with coyotes, which are not rare, and produce hybrids upon reaching sexual maturity. For the sake of argument, we will call the hybrids "wolyotes".

a. Over time- and about 10 generations- what changes do you expect to see in the relative numbers of red wolves, coyotes and wolyotes?

b. Would this constitute speciation? Please defend your answer.
