Assignment -

1. Read "STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP AT TESCO" which contains similar info on what we need to achieve (it's reards Tesco but contains general idea of what I'd like to get- but SWOT or PESTEL should be as charts please)

2. My company is called 2GIS. It's an international IT company, in top 10 of internet based companies in Russia according to Forbes.ru (if you include it in assignment, i'll find reference for this detail)

It's the 3-D city map with navigation plus business listing. It's free for users but we monetize map and business listing by selling advertising to all listed companies in our map.

Works almost as google maps but more accurate and works offline. Currently we cover 300+ cities in 9 countries.

I'm working in UAE branch, we cover 3 cities-Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman.

Strategic plan-expand all over the GCC countries, nearest plan is to cover Abu-Dhabi.

We sell database, API to government entities, transportation companies, delivery companies or any who requires database or API.

Strengths:

1. Accurate map (we buy satellite images and develop maps in-house A to Z)

2. Works offline

3. Most Updated information as we are local based company with production team who verifies all the companies we list in our map in 2 ways: call center and DCA team who verifies all companies by visiting each company in person.

4. We create customized projects based on map (indoor navigation, any event navigation-as Olympic games in Sochi)

Weakness:

1. We do not cover all UAE

Selling database,  API to big market players like coca cola, Aramex, government enitities(Dubai chamber of commerce, Dubai municipality)

Our President tries to stay far from investors but We sell franchise.

Outsourcing we don't use-head office in Russia has 300 IT-specialists to support all branches.

Research department, quality control department-are all in HQ.

Competitiors in UAE: Google, yellowpages, maps.me, connect.ae are the main.

Cloud tool will help to analyze current business plan.
