Read a research article or research report that has done some form of research and explains some form of research method (such as using a sample group or a group of population or a form of machine, technology, IT, etc.); or has collected some form of data from a group of people or from a piece of technology or a machine etc.; or has tested something; or has observed something; or has answered some research questions; or has tested some form of hypotheses; or has presented some form of tables, charts, graphs, numbers, etc. or has used a combination of at least some of these thing. The topic is your choice, choose any topic that you want, it is better for you if you choose a topic that is closer to your degree major because it can give you research understanding about your major field. We are open to any topic as long as it is a research article or report. Prepare a summary of that article or report, a big paragraph to a maximum of 1 page.
When you read the article also think of 3 positive impressions that you got from the article or report. (Example of the positive impression can be: the article can help many people in……….. OR the article has presented the data in very clear and professional graphs and tables that are very understandable). Etc.
And also think of 3 negative impressions that you got from the article or report: (example: the sample size used in the article was very small, there was not enough information about the participants who participated in the research, etc.)
Your summary and your impressions together should be a maximum of 2 pages + the cover page, but not more than 2 pages. Typed, double-spaced, font 12, using APA style.
