Assume the following: You are an attorney. One of your clients is a public employer that hires 25 interns every summer to live in its parks an engage in one of two types of projects - either cleaning/improving the park OR providing park security/emergency response. Interns are assigned to only one project during the summer and those projects are matched with the skills of the interns. Last year, the Park Superintendent was wandering around the interns' housing smelled marijuana smoke coming from the interns' dorms. (Possession of marijuana is illegal in this state.) The Park Superintendent comes to you, the park's lawyer, and asks you whether the Park can require random drug testing of the interns once they begin working and move into the dorms. Based on the pages 197-203 of the text book and assuming the rules described for public employees applies to this hypothetical, how are you going to respond and why?
