Provide outcomes for different execution scenarios

Introduction to Programming Logic:

Project description:

Primary Task Response: Within the Discussion Board area, write 400 to 450 words that respond to the following questions with your thoughts, ideas, and comments. This will be the foundation for future discussions by your classmates. Be substantive and clear, and use examples to reinforce your ideas.

This Discussion Board is conducted in 3 parts to give you a full round-trip communication. You will be practicing playing 2 roles here. For the first, you will be communicating your needs and reviewing a design as another peer designs a solution for you. In the second, you will be taking another student’s problem and designing a solution.

Initial Posting:

Download this worksheet, and walk through the logic to complete the tables within and provide outcomes for different execution scenarios.

Discuss the following:

When should you choose to use a simple if statement (with to paths), nested if statements versus switch/case logic in your design?

Do you prefer to use pseudocode or flowcharts for representing decision logic? Why? Give an example of how your choice works better.

Post your answers from the worksheet. There is no need to attach a document; just take the answers from the table and add them to your discussion.

Like last week, come up with a logic problem that requires decision logic this time. This time, though, your peer will be creating a flowchart of his or her own to solve it.
