The purpose of a process recording is to allow you, as a student, to reflect back on an interaction with a client. In reviewing this interaction it is important to reflect on and identify the specific social work skills that you utilized as well as the client's responses to the specific skill set. It is important to write concisely the thoughts, actions and feelings of the interaction. Use the template below to complete the process recording. The process recording should be shared and discussed with your Field Supervisor as well.
