Problem:
Based on my assessments, my primary coping strategy is reflective coping. I agree since I tend to do a lot of thinking, reflecting, and processing when it comes to stressors and problems.
I think knowing your coping strategy is helpful because it highlights the ways in which you prefer to regulate yourself, which is good when going through life and all of its stressors. If one knows how to cope and calm themselves down, that leads to smoother emotional regulation.
The concept of coping behaviors I see applying to one of the course themes is self-care. Regulating stress is one of the most self-care things one could do to make sure that they don't burn out or lose themselves in the madness that is life. Understanding what does and doesn't work for you is a form of self-care that I think everyone should know.
Post an article, video, or visual to reinforce a peer's idea or challenge them to see their point from a different perspective.
Engage in conversation with your peers around coping skills that are similar to or different from your own. Consider asking a question to reach a better understanding. Need Assignment Help?
