Problem related to exotic solvent

AlBr3 is sold as a solution in CH2Br2. This is a rather exotic solvent and somewhat difficult to work with as well, because of its relatively high boiling point. CH2Cl2 is much more convenient to use in organic synthesis. Assuming AlBr3 is soluble in CH2Cl2, explain why selling it as a solution in that solvent might not be a good idea.
