Problem- The reaction of iron with oxygen from the air provides energy transferred by hot pack. Assuming that iron is converted to iron (III) oxide, how much heating can be provided by a hot pack that contains one tenth of a pound of iron?

Equation given: 2Fe(s)+3/2 O2(g)-->Fe2O3(s) delata H rxn= -824.2kJ
