Problem- the equilibrium constant for triiodide formation

Problem- The equilibrium constant for triiodide formation from iodine and iodide is about 700. the extinction coefficients of iodine and triiodide at the absorption maximum of triiodide are about 16 and 25,000 respectively. Show mathematically that the absorption of iodine does not make a significant contribution to the absorbtion of the solution you prepared for Part A of the Procedure (5 ml of 1x10^4M iodine + 10mL of 0.5M KI)
