Background

North West Regional Hospital (NWRH) [a fictitious health service located in Singapore] is a purpose built, 500-bed inpatient facility. NWRH currently employs 300 people, including administrators, nurses, allied health staff and doctors. NRWH is undergoing an expansion and will be recruiting additional administration, nursing and medical staff.

Task

1 Write a short essay on the:

1. Key features of good quality job descriptions; and

2. Different ways in which job descriptions can be used. (Short essay should be a maximum of 350 words. While it may include the use of bullet points, the essay should have an introduction, body of discussion, and concluding comments. Provide a list of references, using the APA referencing style).

4 Design a recruitment advertisement for online use. Develop an advertisement to be used for online recruiting for a Human Resource Manager.

5 Outline the assessment/evaluation method(s) you will use to support the selection process to the advertised position. You may wish to use a rubric. (List 5-6 assessment/evaluation statements)

6 Prepare behavioural interview questions for the advertised position based on the selection criteria and the qualifications. (List 5-6 behavioural interview questions)

7 Identify interview panel members and explain why each should be part of the panel.

8 Induction and Orientation. Prepare an induction and orientation checklist. Identify any additional factors should an international candidate be selected. (List 5-6 statements in your checklist)

9 HR Audit Process. Develop a checklist that assesses the effectiveness of the recruitment and selection activities. (List 5-6 statements in your checklist)

1. The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
