Case Problem - Mattel
Assignment:
Prepare a financial analysis of Mattel for the years 2014 and 2015. Comment on the profitability, risk, cash flow and anything else you find of interest. Also note any interesting time trends. Basically I am expecting a financial statement analysis with commentary. Commentary should be no longer than four pages (at most).
In calculating ratios that require an average (e.g. ((beg + end)/2)) please just use the ending balance (this will simplify calculating the ratios).
You may use any class materials in preparing your analysis. Any other source material is forbidden.
