You are still the HR Director from the previous assignment scenario. You must now make some key HR strategy changes to meet the new business goals of the organization. Important decisions must be made which center on recruitment and selection, managing a diverse workforce, and performance appraisal and career management.

Create a six to eight (6-8) paper in which you:

1. Discuss 2 methods for internal and 2 methods for external recruitment. What advantages and disadvantages are associated with internal and external recruitment?

2. Examine the nature of workforce diversity and discuss the differences between diversity management and equal employment opportunity. Provide one example for each factor.

3. Select and discuss 3 arguments on how diversity contributes to organizational competitiveness. Choose 1 of the selected arguments and provide an example of how it can improve organizational performance.

4. Briefly describe the importance of performance appraisals and the goals of performance appraisals. Be specific and provide examples where necessary.

5. Analyze and discuss the steps in the career planning process. Also, from that process, explain how communication and performance management are different or the same. Support your response.

6. Use at least three (3) quality resources
