Scope:

Management of the NEC is concerned about keeping their employees current on education, training and certification so that when they have the next Security Manager's Quality Assurance Inspection they will pass with 100% rate. Currently there is no tracking devise available to management or employees that records annual, semi-annual or monthly training requirements. This proposal will create an excel workbook imported from the Human Resource Department's access employee database onto the corporation's sharepoint intranet to alert users when their next training, certification and education requirements expire. All certification courses are mandatory to update every three years. All training requirements are expected to be updated annually. All personnel are required to have a BA degree at minimum and have exactly one year to complete the requirements. This means they should already have 18 semester hours of undergraduate studies. To determine when training is due the cell will be colored red. To indicate that an employee is totally up to date the color of the employees name will be colored in green.

Software requirements - Windows 365 - excel (encryption and biometrics already incorporated into laptops) (just say it) to include skype.

Hardware requirements - all in one touch screen for all employees except Network and communications - they are the network administration and database management department.

Field agents - use touch screen laptops (must have six, use 3 and have 3 in storage).

For relationship diagram - use the HR database ( the same one in Charlene draft is acceptable, to include security information)
